Kyoorius Young Blood - 2022 Entry

This brief tasks you to explore landscapes to design a table linen set that can transport the user to a place and a culture. The challenge is to bring the visual codes of the chosen culture and the iconography of said landscapes without becoming kitsch.

What are the landscapes and geographic details you visualise when you eat something?
For a Punjabi and a Bengali-Tamilian whose families had both settled in Delhi, what came to mind were the many communities and cultures that had found themselves a home in the capital.

That's what it means to be 'From Delhi.'
